Describe your lifestyle as a vampire and other views such as your own definition of true vampirism.

Write what you know, don't worry we won't criticize you unless called for!

my lifestyle..hmm..well, i pretty much lead a life thats hard..but i have managed to get a hold of most of it. I still have problems with getting certain neccessities, but i get by well i suppose.
I use to be normal..but around the age of thirteen i notice that i was changing physically and mentally..not like total monster mash..but if you are a real vampire then you should know what i mean..like im sensitve to very bright lights, im on a diural sleep schedule, and well, i have a very huge craving for blood..or The thirst. most times when i get a craving i cant seem to control myself..but i have figured out some ways to hold me off for a little while until i can find a decent partner. i dont really like others knowing im a vampire..but it helps talking to someone i can trust with it..i mean i can tell anyone i want..but i choose to keep it a secret. when i started feeding through my psi abilities...i noticed that i dont have much control over that side and well, i usually end up causing harm to thoughs around me..mainly emotionally..but i really dont mean to. so if anyone can help out there..would be much thankful.

pretty much i feel that you must go through an awakening to be considered a vampire..you know the second puberty..is what i call it. a bunch of physical and mental changes that happen to you...and the knowledge that you are a vampire. i dont think being an anne rice character is going to make you a vampire..none of any hollywood bullshit..and to mention..Ms. Rice renouced her novels after finding the "lord". so there is something that can help those who think that know that she wrote fiction.

Hello everyone, I'm Ana.

Most don't care to have me in their community because I see my vampyrism as a way of life, rather than a trend or style.

I don't dress like a vampire, or avoid the day. I have to work like most people. I eat normal food and I drink normal drink.
I say my path is a spiritual one because I'm also involved in occult practices, and I find that my vampyrism enhances my occultic path. I'm not wiccan or pagan but I have studied those paths. I'm a bit more of a weaver now a days and a grey one at that. I pull what works for me and leave the rest behind.

My vampyrism is simple. I manipulate and consume energy. Some call this psychic vampyrism, but I've learned to not feed on the auras or emotions of others. I can feed on a candles flame or go astral when I sleep and feed on the astral plane, a very potent and giving plane of energy.

I also consume prana from blood. Many try and say That I am a sanguinarian as they are used to this term, however. I do not consume blood because its blood. I consume blood because of the life energy called prana in the blood, so to me the way I learned this is pranic vampyrism, for me it is a better term than sanguinarianism which is a bastardized word for "of the blood, or bloody", it pertains to Blood, not vampire or vampyre or blood feeder, whereas, pranic denotes that you feed on life so this is what I use.

Many hate me for my views or opinions, and what works for me because I choose to not be a clone of everyone else and just follow in someone elses' footsteps.

i am milosh, well, that's my vampiric name. i agree with both of you and am open minded to ant opinions that i come across. i am athirteen year old boy who came across vampirism when i was six, but chnged when i was eleven.
i have looked at wiccanism, and have self initiated and do whatever i have to to survive. if you read my profile then you will see that i dont like drinking human blood as i feel its morally wrong, however, occasionally i do drink animal blood but have not done in about six months.
i sometimes, very rarely, when i need to, feed on human auras, this is only when i'm very weak.
i go to school like normal kids my age and do not feel anything strange when i am in strong lights but i do have to close my eyes slightly. no-one at school detects anything but a few people know. they are only my very close, very few, true friends.
i sympathise for some of you who are having problems, and though i am young, you can come to me for advice if you wish. i am knowleadhable for my age. thankyou for reading this if you do.

i know how you, nightspriestess and milosh feel. im one who doesnt avoid the night...simply because i have to be up during the day and do everything just like the mundane society.
when i am up in the day i always wear something to protect my eyes and a black hoodie does fine..but i really dont find a problem with they daytime..except for maybe the pervs in their cars honking constantly.
ever since i started changing..everything was stranger than normal..but i got use to it and managed to be the same and keep it a secret.
the only probelms i have is finding a decent donor and feeding off others psychically without knowledge of doing so. Its pretty much going on six years of that..annoying but try to manage control.

I no longer worry about feeding on others physically or energy wise -- if I do they gain it right back anyways and it is a misconception that we can kill by energy drain. the spirit body knows how much it needs and takes just that. If you take too much from anywhere you can feel overload and can cut off the flow by drinking lots of water. (Water depletes Energy flow)

If the sun bothers me at all, its my eyes and in the summer, the uv heat index. I will have to limit my time in it or I will suffer some heat sickness as the sunlight also depletes etheric energy (aura).

oh..i know what you are talking about when you are speaking of energy and the spirit body. we should all know that actually..but..eh.
and the sun's heat does a number on my eyes and skin..like today in the car..i just pretty much about cried cause usually it hurts so bad..and then sometimes..i can withstand it..but at least im not alone..

i am a nomad vampire. in other words i can feed from aura and blood and energy. only one of my friends know im a vampire and thats only because he saw me feeding. at school people think im a witch just because im from california and dont conform. their far from the truth. human blood is to weak to feed from so i feed off a male vampire. i have major sensitivity to light and heightened senses. im the closes as you can get to pure blood vampire.
i went through the transition when i was thirteen, unusually early to go through it. and it was a pain

i was thirteen...not that early..and pure blood vampire would just be your parents are vampires..lol im sure that a vampire that feeds off aura/energy..and blood is psi vampire and a sanguinarian. that would be me also. known about vampires at a early age..and awakened at the age of thirteen..or i think twelve.shortly after my puberty...i have not much recollection of my age...but around that time im sure..it was a real nu sense..still is cause donors are quite rare here in Ohio..and many not to be trusted..so i feel mosts pain..and we are all considered human since we all die..we cant possibly escape our doomed opposite and i see it is coming for us all soon since we being human cause it to occur in very short time.

i totally agree. its very annoying and i also have sensitivity to light, and am in spain at moment so its very annoying!!! however, all i do is wear a black hoodie ofmy black leaher coat and just grit my teeth. the pain is even worse in the morning but i just get on with it. its really frustrating though, seeing as i cant tell anyone, and the fact that i hav to lie so much.

I lead a somewhat normal life.
I never had a specific time in my life where I "awakened", I was born sanguinarian from the start and just always grew up that way.
Both my mother and father are also sanguinarian.
Although my mother is slighty, she's more on the lines ESP indigo.
Which is most likely where I got one of my traits of being very empathetic with people.
Only two of my closest friends know that I'm sanguinarian. And it took a while to trust them enough to explain things.
My eyes are very sensetive to extreme sunlight and flurescent lighting. I'm fine going outside, but I always carry grey tinted sunglasses with me.
If I dont, I get really bad migranes and feel dizzy.
When it comes to blood consumption, I only really need a tablespoon or two to get by.
I have it mixed with alot of water. It kind of thins the blood out but I got used to it.
There's a specific source my family and I get it from.
I am against drinking animal blood. It's against my morals. I have a pet yorkshire terrier too. I love animals and would never want to do something like that to them.
I get Déjà Vu and Déjà Vécu rediculously often. I find it a bit odd and am still looking into it.
I also tend to pick up alot of annoying sounds going on everywhere all at once. I guess it's heightened sence of hearing or something. Every extra good has a negative side to it, so it appears.
I view the world very differently than most people.
I have a very logical way of thinking and notice quite a number of things going on that the majority of people these days would not. I'm also good at reading people, I can pick up good or bad vibes from others that is very accurate.
Other than all of that I'm not much different than everyone else , I work, attend college, and take dance classes on my free time.
Real vampires are like everyone else to a certain extent.
There are no capes, coffins, or steaks to the heart, we're not all goth or dress in dark colors, we're not all pale, we're not all evil, we live our lives like any other living creature on earth, we have our ups and downs, we have jobs, have to attend schooling, and have our own interests, we're not all the same.
There are no perfect people, everyone has good and bad in everything.
I'm sick and tired of hearing stereotypes!

My life is as most would dream of I am the oldest son to a mafia scrap metals recycling empire here in calif, my father was what you would call a godfather in this area before his truck was blown up to years ago, so vampires can die.Now as the oldest I have had to take his place in the family business. I love the night and the power it gives us I also own a strip club which is open from dust til dawn on the weekends my thirst for human blood is the life force for which I live off I have girlfriends as donors with wild sexual times but when not around I do drink animals blood but its taste can be nasty I sleep all day as the daylight makes me tired and the sun light blinds my eyes when out in the day I wear a trench coat no matter how hot it is as the sun seems to hurt when in it for very long, it seems the more you drink of human blood the worst the sun light efects you and no you dont burst in to flames but sometimes it feels that way . The true vampires are night lovers and must feed its are way of life!

Common Bloodletting methods

Cutting
This method is fairly self explanitory, and yields the most blood. Take a knife...or more often a razor (the sharper, the less pain for the victim)...and cut just deep enough into the flesh to draw blood. Cutting the shoulders, back, arms or thighs is usually the most productive. Some also prefer to use scalpels (please, know how to use these first!!!), or other blood drawing methods such as hypodermic needles, syringes and various diabetic tools such as lancets.

Biting
Also self explanitory and one of the best ways to create intimacy, although this method yields only a few drops of blood. Lose the prosthetic fangs and use your teeth to inflict wounds...again, only deep enough to break the skin and not any arteries or major veins. Many people who frequently prefer biting have their canines professionally and permanently elongated.

Whipping, beating, thrashing, etc
This way is for the somewhat more masochistic at heart...not one of the better ways to draw blood as the donor goes through much pain, but for some people, of course...that only heightens the experience sexually, spiritually or both. It is recommended that only those with skill and training of using whips, etc partake in this method, since inexperience may cause fatal damage.

Menstruation
Truly a matter of what you like, but another good way to create intimacy without inflicting any pain on the donor, and offers a different experience and texture/taste of the blood.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Safety Tips

1) Always have a first aid kit nearby and know how to use it.

2) Always use clean, sterilized instruments when cutting or whipping. If blood stains the knife, razor, whip, etc clean it thoroughly or better yet, use the instrument only on that same person. Throw away all needles after one use.

3) Make sure that the donor has been tested for aids or other blood-born diseases. If at all possible, swallow blood quickly to avoid infection, especially if you have any wounds, cold sores, etc.

4) Ensure that the donor has a clear idea of what is about to happen to him/her, and of course, they should be consensual before any further action is taken. Also, it's a good idea to periodically ask the donor whether they feel alright and are not queazy, nauseous, etc. If possible, have orange juice available nearby.

5) Avoid major arteries and veins!!! Don't cut any deeper into the skin than is absolutely necessary.

Feed well, have fun...but be safe!!!

my lifestyle is honestly pretty boring. I have no real friends so I'm alone most of the time. I'm a little shy around new people so they hardly ever bother with me and I feel guilty really easy (example: my first karate leason I acsedendly hit a boy in the face and spent the rest of the night crying in the conor, it was when I was younger though, these days I'd just have annoyed him by repeating every few seconds "I'm sorry") and it's hard to get blood that way without feeling bad about it.....unless the human happened to have made me really mad before hand and I loose my temper fast. I don't leave the house without my skull bag (just a blac bag with little skulls all over it) and stuff it with UV protection moisturiser and shades to keep myself protected from the sun. Probley the most exciting thing that could happen to me is when my mortal enemy victoria and I are in the same room because when we are there's always gonna be a fight. I usually get my blood from my self procliamed "best friend" keelee while she's sleeping. She cuts herself and makes me really mad during the day so there's no guilt involved. To put it short, I sleep with a skelanimal, I carry my skull bag, a book, and my journal everywhere with me, I'm feared by my christian classmates, I hate the sun, and I hate Victoria and her frizzy orange hair. That's pretty much all there is to it.
