I noticed that the lyrics have hidden messages in them too. Ok question, just out of curiosity.. am I the only one who notices meanings behind songs through the lyrics, or can u guys do that too? About 95% of the people I've met in my life have said that they only pay attention to the beat and instrumental parts of a song, and only base their approval of a song by just that. Considering the fact that the majority of people these days don't even care what the lyrics are stating. For example... Some people who are into rap music don't pay attention to whats actually being said. There are alot of people at clubs and stuff who will dance to music that says stuff like "slap that b*tch up" or promoting women to whore themselves out. lol it's pathetic... It would seem that intelligence and self respect in people is declining greatly.    Apr 12, 2008 07:18 pm blakkitten16 Posts : 436 offline lol "slap that b*tch up" nicely put :b. but just because they don't really listen dosn't mean they don't hear it which is probley what's causeing some of the violence the world is seeing today    Apr 13, 2008 12:22 pm milosh Posts : 253 offline i, too, judge a song on the lyrics, but also have to take into consideration the beat, the way it's sung, and the technical ability before i state whether i like a song or not. but ialso see and hear meanings behind the lyrics, and if i don't like what it's implying, then i generally won't like the song. however, in some cases, there are songs where the beat is brilliant and you've just got to love it. e.g. close to the flame by H.I.M. however, the lyrics are brilliant anyway. i agree entirely with what you're saying.
